How can you help?

  • Donate funds online — select Davidsonville Elementary so our school gets credit!

  • Donate large, sturdy boxes — these will be set up in the main hallway during Spirit Week, the last week of October (empty boxes can be dropped off at school).

  • Participate in the DES Harvest for the Hungry Spirit Week, October 27-31, 2025.

Volunteering
Room Parents

Selected Room Parents for the 2025/26 school year have been notified. Thank you to everyone who was willing to take on this role this year!

Teachers Elves

The Teachers Elves program is back in business! Do you have some time to spare during the day to make copies, laminate, and complete other tasks for teachers? Sign up here to be a part of the teachers' elves program!

Help is needed every day of the week, so be sure to toggle between the different tabs to find days that work with your schedule. Please reach out to Laura via the Sign Up Genius with any questions!

Girls on the Run

We are on a mission to bring Girls on the Run back to DES for spring 2026!

Girls on the Run is a nonprofit that creates and offers evidence-based empowerment programs that help girls build confidence, address negative issues, and deepen vital physical, mental, emotional, and social life skills.

This club will be available for 3rd-5th graders.

To make this club possible we would need a site liaison who would

  • Act as the main site contact for families, participants, and GOTRGC team
  • Help recruitment efforts and distribute marketing materials
  • Provide families with registration assistance

Two Coaches (do not have to be runners or athletes)

  • Complete National Coach Training
  • Receive season-long support, resources and tools from GOTR
  • Lead teams through curriculum
  • Are committed to seeing girls in their community grow, have fun and become
    leaders of tomorrow

If you are interested in learning more or helping out, please reach out to the PTO Volunteer Coordinator, Brooke Zingler.
