Fall Family Fun Night

Join us for a FREE family evening! Enjoy games, crafts, a mini pumpkin patch, and our festive "Table or Treat." While RSVPs are not required, it helps us prepare for the event. Want a night free of planning dinner?! RSVP and pre-order a large cheese or pepperoni pizza to enjoy at the event here!

We invite you to be part of the fun while lending a hand!
See all the ways to help and sign up here: Fall Social

We are especially in need of:

1. Volunteers for the 1st grade, 2nd grade and 5th grade        trick-or-treat tables

2. Candy or treat donations (email Mary Boese if willing to    donate treats to hand out)

**Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate, as we kick off Harvest for the Hungry collection**

Spirit Week & Harvest for the Hungry
Spirit Week - October 27-31
Spirit Week is NEXT WEEK!

Get ready for our fun student theme days leading up to Halloween and plan your donations for Harvest for the Hungry.

Thank you to our school community for the online donations and boxes sent in thus far. We still need large, sturdy boxes, so please continue to send them in!

There are 2 easy ways to help:

  • Stock up on Harvest for the Hungry donation items for each day and get ready to join in the fun soon!
  • Or you can choose to simply donate funds online and select Davidsonville Elementary so our school gets credit!

Volunteering
🌎 Help Bring Our International Night to Life!

We're seeking a volunteer to help organize and run our International Night, scheduled for February 2026. We're bringing back this event to connect families and to showcase food, music, traditions, and stories from around the world. If you're passionate about cultural celebration and community connection, we'd love your help coordinating logistics, recruiting participants, and making the night unforgettable.

Interested? Reach out to Alison Moser to learn more or sign up!

Volunteer Orientation

There will be a virtual volunteer orientation TOMORROW, Monday, October 20, at 7 p.m. This meeting is for anyone who is new to volunteering at Davidsonville Elementary School and will last approximately 30 minutes. Join us to learn about how you can get involved at DES!

Hoops for Learning Volunteers Needed

In November, we'll run a brand-new fundraiser called Hoops for Learning. This student-driven event combines the thrill of basketball with the power of giving, as participants take their best shots on the court while family, friends, and caregivers pledge donations for each basket made.

All students will shoot hoops on November 11, and we need volunteers to make this happen! Sign up for an hour (or more) here. Thank you in advance!
