Help rake leaves, tidy garden beds, pick up sticks, and help prepare our outdoor spaces for winter. All ages are welcome! Drinks and snacks will be provided.

We're asking for help to make our 2025 Holiday Shoppe Bake Sale a huge success! Please use this form to sign up to contribute in any way that you can. We love all types of treats (homemade, store-bought, snacks, drinks, whatever!). Treats should be individually packaged.

All donations need to be dropped off at the front of school by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9.

Girls on the Run is looking for one more parent volunteer to join the coaching team! The club focuses on inspiring girls to build their confidence through interactive lessons and physical activities. The Girls on the Run Club will meet two days a week and is open to girls in 3rd-5th grade. Please reach out to Jennafer Palumbo if you are interested in becoming a coach at DES! 

On Monday, November 17, 2025, an automated speed enforcement camera will become active in our school zone. The camera will operate from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, to help reduce vehicle speeds and promote safer driving habits in the vicinity of DES and other schools.
