Gator-Sized Love for Our Faculty & Staff!

Gator-sized love for our faculty & staff!

This Valentine’s season, the PTO is showing extra appreciation to the incredible people who make Davidsonville Elementary such a special place.

Want to help? We welcome donations of food or drinks.

Even sweeter—send a few kind words or notes of appreciation via EMAIL by Wednesday, February 11.  We will compile all of the messages for delivery on Valentine's Day. Your messages will truly make their day extra sweet!

Let’s spread the love, Gator family!

Unity Day is TUESDAY, February 10

To help celebrate AACPS stand with the National Bullying Prevention Center students should wear their DES Unity Day t-shirts this Tuesday.

Note that this is also a 2-hour early release day for students per the AACPS schedule.

Fifth Grade Sentiments

Attention Fifth Grade Families! The deadline to submit your fifth grader’s baby picture and sentiment has been extended to February 13, 2025

The Yearbook Committee needs your help to ensure every fifth-grade student is recognized in the DES Yearbook. If you have not already done so, please submit a baby picture and a 20-word sentiment of praise or encouragement to be published in the yearbook for your fifth-grade student. Please keep your sentiment to 20 words so your message will fit in the available space.

Instructions on how to submit your photo and sentiment are listed below.

Please email the baby picture and sentiment to desgatorsyearbook@gmail.com. This picture will also be used in the 5th grade slideshow that is shown at promotion.

Girls on the Run is back at DES!

Girls on the Run of the Greater Chesapeake invites girls in 3rd-5th grade to join in on lessons taught by trained volunteer coaches who create a welcoming environment using our evidence-based curriculum. "Hello, Mountain Mover!" lessons teach girls about their I CAN power.
