Volunteer Spotlight

Thank you to everyone who helped make our revamped International Night a success! Students didn’t just learn about culture — they experienced it. They were able to see, touch, taste, hear, and even smell traditions from around the world. Watching their genuine curiosity (and the parents’ enthusiasm, too!) was such a joy.

We had 19 incredible displays, brought to life by a beautiful tapestry of collaboration — parents and children, grandparents and relatives, neighbors and friends, teachers, students, and alumni. It shows the strength of our community coming together to celebrate culture and connection.

Sending a special thanks to Ange Beegle (co-chair), Casey Wheeler (teacher liaison) and Alison Moser (PTO VP Fundraising), for spearheading this event, as well as the setup/cleanup helpers: Kerry Flanagan, Jaymie Minor, and Jess Miller.

If you haven't seen it, check out the reel on Facebook and Instagram to see the night in action!

Yearbook Photos Needed

The Yearbook Committee needs your help to make this school year's yearbook great!  We need as many photos as possible and having our parents, teachers, and staff contribute photos is the best way to ensure that our students are well represented in the yearbook.

If you have photos you would like us to consider for use in the yearbook, please click on the link below for each specific category to upload photos for that category.  If you don't see a specific category that fits your photo, feel free to use the miscellaneous folder. Photos should only include DES students and staff and should be of school events and activities.

The password to upload photos is Davidsonville26!
