2025-2026 Fundraisers
No-Fuss Fundraiser (September 3-14)
We did it! We smashed our goal for the No-Fuss Fundraiser and raised a total of $16,780! 🙌 Thanks to your incredible generosity, enthusiasm, and school spirit, our students will be treated to an action-packed BMX Assembly that’s sure to be unforgettable.
💙 A huge THANK YOU to all our donors — your support made this happen. You’ve helped kick off the school year with joy, momentum, and a whole lot of heart.
Skate Nights (September 25; November 13; February 5; and April 9)
Throughout the year, we will have four Skate Nights at Skate Zone in Crofton. Admission is just $5 per person (even if you’re not skating), plus $5 per skate rental if needed (no scooters allowed). This is a great chance for new and veteran families to connect and be part of the DES community. Buy your tickets here.
Dining Out for DES (September 11, October 8, December 2, February, May)
We partner with local restaurants to donate a portion of sales back to the DES PTO! It’s the perfect excuse to take a break from cooking and enjoy a meal out all while giving back to DES. Even better? Plan to meet up with a friend or fellow Gator family and make the night even more memorable. Grab dinner, catch up, and support our school together!
- Sept. 11: Harvest Thyme (in conjunction with Back to School Night)
- Oct. 8: Squisito Pizza & Pasta (Riva Road location; dine in or carry out)
- Dec. 2: Chick-fil-a (Edgewater location; in person or mobile orders. Code: Gators)
Hoops for Learning (TBD)
A new Shoot & Pledge Challenge that is an exciting and impactful fundraiser where the students of DES can make a difference with every shot! This student-driven event combines the thrill of basketball with the power of giving, as participants take their best shots on the court while family, friends, and caregivers pledge flat donations or for each basket made. View all 5th grade logo submissions. Stay tuned for more!
Book Fair/Read Across America (April)
We are again partnering with Scholastic to bring this year’s Book Fair alive! Running from April 17–24, this is a great opportunity to refresh your book selection while supporting our PTO. We will have fun events to focus on the importance and joy of a good book, such as themed days at school and the very popular family social night on Friday, April 17.
