Many programs at the school are PTO sponsored or co-sponsored by the PTO in cooperation with Davidsonville Elementary School. Some events and programs could not exist without the financial and volunteer support of the DES PTO. It is incredible what we can achieve when staff, volunteers, parents, and students work together.

DES sponsors the following programs with the assistance of the PTO:
- Back To School Night
- Harvest for the Hungry: is an October food and funds drive that supports children and families throughout Anne Arundel County.
How can you help?
1. Donate funds online — select Davidsonville Elementary so our school gets credit!
2. Donate large, sturdy boxes — these will be set up in the main hallway during Spirit Week, the last week of October (empty boxes can be dropped off at school).
3. Participate in the DES Harvest for the Hungry Spirit Week, October 27-31, 2025.
